Gallery Nightclub: 20,000-Square-Foot, Art-Inspired Space With Room for 2,300

Gallery Nightclub is now open at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, after a grand opening celebration featuring a birthday party for Kourtney Kardashian and a performance by Cee Lo Green. The space is available for full buyout with a capacity of 2,300.

The main room has a sprawling dance floor, two bars, and an elevated DJ booth. High-tech sound and lighting blanket the space, where DJs spin a mix of house, mash-ups, hip-hop, and Top 40. There are connecting dance platforms behind the club’s many V.I.P. booths to encourage interaction throughout the room. Oversize frames adorn the walls, showcasing original photography depicting voyeuristic imagery. Designed by Amy Kim of AK DesignNetwork (whose design credits include collaboration with Philippe Starck on the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills), the 20,000-square-foot space merges vintage gothic design with modern touches.

In the red room, subjects in 3-D seem to photographs follow guests’ moves, and in the gold room, gold lighting washes the circular alcove. Performance dancers styled in voyeuristic fashions perform nightly. Candlelit glass fireplaces are scattered throughout the venue, creating a glow in all the rooms.
